ALMOST £4,000 has been donated to Helensburgh lifeboat station after a successful fund-raising event.
The RNLI Helensburgh fund-raising committee raised the superb sum from their annual curry supper night, held at the Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club on Friday, February 15.

The fund-raising committee cooked and served the curry while there were also fantastic raffle prizes on offer, donated by local businesses and individuals, including a lovely hamper from Ardardan Estate, a pair of flight tickets from Loch Lomond Sea Planes and a framed print of a submarine from the Royal Navy.

A grand total of £3,970.75 was raised.
