HELENSBURGH police are probing two separate but apparently related incidents involving break-in attempts at a local store.
The newsagents in Churchill Square has been targeted twice this month by crooks: the first attempt was made overnight from Thursday, February 14 into Friday, February 15, while the second attempt was made two days later on Saturday, February 16 into the following morning.
Police say that on both occasions the rear fire door was targeted.
Thieves have previously targeted the McColl's shop on several occasions, as the Advertiser reported back in November.
