POLICE in Helensburgh are appealing for the public's help after a laptop and two watches were stolen in a break-in at a house in the town.
The incident happened at a property in East King Street on Friday, February 1.
According to police, the owner locked and secured his home before going out for the day, and returned in the late evening to find the front storm doors of the house damaged and signs that someone had forced entry.

Police were called to the scene and spoke to the owner, who confirmed the laptop and watches had been taken.
A forensic examination was then carried out and officers say the enquiry is still ongoing.
