HELENSBURGH'S current MSP, Jackie Baillie, has been reselected by members of the local Labour party to contest the Dumbarton constituency at the next Scottish Parliament elections.
Ms Baillie has represented the constituency since the parliament was established in 1999, winning subsequent elections in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2016, making her one of the longest-serving constituency MSPs at Holyrood.
She was re-elected at the last Scottish Parliament election in 2016 after taking 40.2 per cent of votes in the constituency, defeating second-placed Gail Robertson of the SNP by 109 votes.
