PLANS have been lodged for two houses to be built in a narrow Cardross street.
The proposals for the site at Ianmyo, previously Burnfoot Cottage, in Peel Street, see two new homes being built to the side of the existing property, towards the Main Road.
A planning statement said: “The new development has been designed to respect the setting of the existing villa and reduce the visual impact on the surrounding area.
“This has been achieved by siting the buildings to the rear of the site in the form of mews houses and outbuildings.”
“The existing villa retains its independent access.”
Argyll and Bute Council’s planning department is expected to decide on the plans by late March.
