THE Met Office has issued a yellow 'be aware' weather warning advising that icy conditions are likely in Helensburgh, and across much of the UK, on Tuesday.
The warning, which will be in effect between midnight and 12 noon on January 22, states that ice will form on some surfaces overnight across large parts of the country.
The forecaster advises that some roads and railways are likely to be affected, with longer journey times anticipated during the morning rush hour, along with ice on some roads, pavements and cycle paths.
