A PERSISTENT offender who threatened his partner with violence at a property in Rosneath has been warned he's on his final chance to stay out of prison.
Kyle McCreadie, 23, received the warning when he appeared for sentence at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday.
McCreadie had previously admitted shouting, swearing, making threats of violence, acting aggressively, putting his partner into a state of fear and alarm, repeatedly phoning her and threatening both his partner and her mother with violence.
The incident happened on December 12 at a property in Silverhills in the village.
Defence lawyer Peter Young told Friday's hearing: "He pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity. He is looking for the chance to go onto the Pair Programme, for people involved in domestic violence.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry told McCreadie: "In 2014 you were sent to detention. You have two breached community payback orders [CPOs] In March 2017 you breached another CPO.
"How many times will this happen before you finally realise you cannot continue to breach court orders?
"I have lost track of the number of times you have appeared before me. If you continue to act in this way it will simply be prison sentence after prison sentence.
"If that's what you want, then continue doing what you are doing.
"I don't think you deserve it, but I'm going to give you one last ditch chance, which I am sure will come as a surprise to you.
"I will call for a Pair assessment, which has to be carried out when you are at liberty.
"It will be your attitude which will be assessed and your commitment to the programme.
"I will release you on bail, but there will be a special condition that you do not contact in any way your partner or her mother."
Sentence on McCreadie, of Bryson Street in the Faifley area of Clydebank, was deferred until February 6.
