HELENSBURGH'S New Year swim raked in a record-breaking fund-raising total, organisers have confirmed.
The annual tradition, held at Rhu Marina on January 1, attracted 219 hardy souls who took a dip in the freezing cold water to blow off the Hogmanay cobwebs.
And the Helensburgh RNLI were delighted to announce a total of £1,314.89 was collected on the day, surpassing the 2018 total of £936, and the £1,152 raised in 2017.
The Helensburgh RNLI thanked participants and spectators for contributing to a wonderful event.
