A HELENSBURGH man has pleaded guilty to assaulting an employee at a pub in the town by hitting her with a glass.
Graham Kavanah, 64, of Grant Street, admitted a charge of assault when he appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The incident happened at the Ashton Bar in West Princes Street on February 21 last year.
Kavanah pleaded guilty to injuring a female employee at the pub by striking her with a glass tumbler.
After entering his client’s guilty plea, defence solicitor Tom Brown also confirmed that Kavanah admitted his previous criminal convictions.
Sheriff John Hamilton deferred sentence until Friday, February 6 for background reports.
