ANNAYA’S Indian restaurant in Helensburgh celebrated another success recently as it was named Best Curry House in the West of Scotland at the second annual SPICE Awards.

Three hundred esteemed finalists and guests gathered at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Glasgow on Monday evening for the event which showcased the incredible talent and hard work within the Asian food industry in Scotland.

And staff members at Annaya’s, which was nominated in four categories including Best Takeaway, Best Buffet and Best Chef, were understandably thrilled to pick up the accolade.

A post on social media said: “Our win at the SPICE Awards tops off a fantastic few weeks for us as we were named 5 Star Indian Restaurant of the Year at the inaugural Scottish Asian Food Awards 2018 last month.

"We say it once again, none of this would be possible without the sheer hard work of the team behind the scenes and YOU, the customer.

“Annaya’s, as well as the other award-winning restaurants in the town, are putting Helensburgh back on the map as a top destination for wonderful cuisine from around our planet."
