Crowds flocked in glorious sunshine to celebrate Rhu and Shandon Gala's 20th anniversary on Saturday.
There was a party atmosphere as host of fun activities got under way in the grounds of the Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club.
And the bumper event was an occasion to remember for the 'royal couple' - gala queen and king, Nikita May Petkova and Max Powell, pupils at Rhu Primary School.
They arrived in a swanky limousine accompanied by princesses, Kayla Morlay-Smith and Freyah Rose.
The gala parade was led in grand style by Helensburgh Clan Colquhoun Pipe Band and the celebrations officially got under way when guest of honour, former Celtic and Scotland footballer Murdo MacLeod, declared the gala open.
The event itself featured a dog show, food, drink and gift stalls, rides, an assault course, a bungee run, a miniature zoo, a crockery smash and much more, while local a capella singers Tartan Harmony entertained in the beer tent.
In the main arena, in front of the clubhouse, was is a full programme of events including a birds of prey show, dancing and cheerleading demonstrations, family races and, at the end of the day, a tug of war.
