INSPECTORS have praised the “positive progress” being made at Kilcreggan Primary School after a report last year identified several areas for improvement.
Education Scotland published its latest findings on the school this week after their initial inspection visit in February 2017 identified issues with staffing at the school while praising its head teacher, Frances Bretman.
In a letter to parents, inspectors said: “As a result of a more stable staff team, the headteacher and her staff are in a stronger position to improve the areas identified for improvement.
“We can see that the school has made positive progress with the arrangements for monitoring, evaluating and improving its work.”
Inspectors will ask for a further progress report within 12 months.
