Villagers in Kilcreggan have launched a campaign to attract visitors to the area following the switch of operators on the Gourock ferry link.
A Visit Kilcreggan Facebook page has been set up, with a website to follow.
The Facebook page includes an appeal for help from members of the public with creating a 'one stop shop' for visitors to the peninsula – in particular those with knowledge of the area's walking routes, those with ideas for an annual event in the village, and those able to help create video guides to the area.
The ferry route was taken over by Clyde Marine Services of Greenock on May 14, following repeated cancellations of the service when it was operated by Clydelink.
