MEMBERS and staff at Cardross Bowling Club organised a night of music to raise money for Robin House in Balloch.
The evening of musical entertainment on Saturday, June 24 was very successful with lots of people attending and a large amount of money raised.
The musical talents of Billy Gaffney, ensured that those who attended were thoroughly entertained and as a result £2,000 was raised on the night.
Cardross Bowling Club's President Alec MacKenzie and function conveners Teena Coghlan and Lorna Colquhoun were delighted to be able to present the cheque when Jonathan Clegg of Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) visited.
The money will go towards helping CHAS to provide vital hospice services for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
The charity offer care for the whole family in their two children's hospices, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch and the generosity of the Bowling Club will help them provide the hospice services.
