LEATHERBY - James Leatherby James Commander 4.1.1953 27.8.2023 Commander Royal Navy, DL. (retired) After short illness, passed away peacefully at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth on 27th August 2023. Will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Service of thanksgiving at Holy Cross Church Newton Ferrers, Plymouth on 27th September 2023 at 2.00pm. A kind and lovely man. Traditional Naval Officer, with the Nelson touch.
Was with great sadness I heard of his passing, served his country well.
