BLACKIE - Jane On 2nd May 2022 aged 74 years after some two months in Hospital in Edinburgh consequent on worsening aspects of her adult-lifelong illness ever so bravely and cheerfully borne, ending with a brief and unexpected time there suffering with a terminal cancer, Jane, treasured wife of John, Russell Place, Edinburgh and Church Place, Rhu, eldest child of the late Mr Arthur and Mrs Joan Ashman, of Green End, Maulds Meaburn, Westmorland in Cumbria, formerly of West Derby, Liverpool. Service on Monday 16th May at 2pm in the Church of St Lawrence, Crosby Ravensworth, Westmorland in Cumbria, and burial there, at the Church where she and John were married in 1972. All friends are invited.
