McMILLAN PAUL It is difficult to find adequate words to show our appreciation of certain people who in the last week went a long way beyond their job description to change a difficult and painful experience into one which had kindness and comfort in the light of the relatively sudden death of the dearly loved younger brother of Joyce Goel and brother in law Dr. Krishna Goel. Mr Auld, undertaker turned what was a dark and painful experience into a more relaxed experience because of his quiet efficiency coupled with kindess and empathy. Elaine Crichton registrar of deaths and her colleague showed patience and kindness while asking delicate and sensitive questions. The staff and organist at Cardross Crematorium were efficient and provided warm and pleasant surroundings and Douglas Sammon and his team at Helensburgh Parish Church provided and excellent location for a large number of Paul’s friends to come and meet and comfort the family and renew their own friendships. The facilities and planning turned a very painful day into one of almost happy memories. Many many thanks to each one of you.
