Pupils at Kilcreggan Primary have told of their pride after achieving a prestigious global award.
They are the first school in the Lomond area and the fourth overall in Argyll and Bute to receive the UNICEF Gold: Rights Respecting Schools Award.
This accomplishment acknowledges the school's commitment to fostering a culture of respect, understanding and advocacy for children's rights.
To celebrate, pupils enjoyed a party where everyone wore gold clothes and participated in dancing and a quiz.
One pupil said: "It's great to be in a school that values our opinions.
"The party was amazing, and it made us feel proud of what we've achieved together."
As a symbol of their achievement, each pupil received a gold medal, signifying their dedication to promoting and upholding children's rights.
The school also unveiled the UNICEF Gold: Rights Respecting Schools banner, which is now on display.
Kilcreggan Primary School was awarded this accolade by the Rights Respecting Schools (RRS) Team, who highlighted the staff's respect for the students' views and contributions towards instigating positive change within the school.
The RRS Team also noted that Kilcreggan Primary School hosts a variety of pupil-led groups linked to rights, offering every child the opportunity to participate and actively engage in shaping their educational environment and learning experience.
